Tour & Submit Initial Eval Application
We require all families and students to visit the Academy prior to deciding on attendance to determine if it is the right fit for your family. Tours are a great opportunity to learn more about the Academy and have your detailed questions answered directly by our dedicated team of professionals. Provide all prior Academic documentation & Schedule Evaluation
Once your family has decided the academy is the right fit for your child, all prior medical and academic testing is to be submitted to our principal. This includes IEP’s, prior grade placement and any relevant educational documentation. Our team will then review the information provided and schedule a detailed Evaluation conducted by our Lead Special Education Teacher and the Shine Behavioral LLC Clinical Director / Lead BCBA. The cost of this initial evaluation is $600.
Notification on the decision of acceptance
After the evaluation is completed our admissions team will meet and review all prior schooling documentation and review the results of the in-person Evaluation. We will then advise on acceptance in writing via the email provided by parent/caregiver within one- week.
Enrollment Packet is provided, official enrollment begins
Shine Behavioral Academy enrollment packet document will be provided and is due to the Principal within 10 days of students start date.
Grade placement does not apply to SHINE BEHAVIORAL ACADEMY,
as student placements are determined by level of ability, and level of developmental delay.
